  • Incorporate Veggies and Fruits into Your Diet

It is easy to have a routine of veggies..with summer you have many fresh choices…blueberry, raspberries, cherries, peaches, figs, plums, watermelon, corn, kale, asparagus, beets, squash etc., giving your body that energizing nutritional kick!

  • Green Tea

Green Tea naturally speeds up your metabolism.  The loose tea brew it yourself is always the best…WHITE TEA the traditional TEA of the Emperors in China actually has a higher concentration of anti-oxidant qualities, for that boost!

  • Choose Seafood

Making the right choices is so important…staying clear of ice cream and high calorie fried and barbecued foods, your body will love your for it!  Pack your cooler with bottled water, ice, sandwiches on whole grain breads, hummus, nuts, yogurt and fruits!

Our Aesthetician’s Top Beauty Tips


Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with BIOXAGE SPA’s expert facial Aesthetician Mercedes Sanchez. She will be sharing all her amazing tips on complexion care, exfoliation, and anti-aging.

Lets get right to it!

What is the most interesting thing you have learned about skin care in your career?

Skin treatments must be customized to each individual’s skin type. At Bioxage, we have a brief consultation with each client before they engage in their facial. I take into consideration, oily, dry, acne, or combination skin, as our goal is to achieve the perfect PH balance!”

What are your best tips for at home care?

  • Always remove make-up before going to bed! I always recommend using cold water, as hot water can dissolve oils in the skin.
  • Use toner always, the best is a product such as BIOXAGE Toner which does not have the ingredient salicylic acid which produces unwanted oil in the skin, which sends the wrong information to the skin, which in turn, creates an imbalance.
  • I recommend morning and evening to use a serum before applying moisturizer. The Bioxage Serum is made exclusively from the Dead Sea products with all natural ingredients such as Almond, Rose Hip and Oilve oils, great for all skin types.

What is your ‘go to’ product?

I love the Bioxage Milk Cleanser, which soothes and softens the skin with natural ingredients such as Almond Oil, Chamomile, Aloe Vera and Verbena.  Cucumber cleans, tightens and conditions the skin all in one! Plus extra added benefits of the Dead Sea water to improve skin circulation.

How often should we exfoliate the skin?

Depending on the skin type, for Dry skin, I recommend once a week.  Oily skin Would be two times per week and leave on for 5 minutes. It is very important to remove the dead cells from the skin so that the skin can breathe and receive products deeper into the skin.

How often do you recommend a facial?

Since skin cells take 21 days to regenerate or ” turn over” I recommend a Professional Facial at least once a month for both dry and oily skin types. At Bioxage we specialize in first analyzing your skin, and then proceed with the proper treatment especially for your skin type.

How to Do Face Cleansing at Home

The secret to having a great complexion is very simple actually!  Following a ‘Beauty Regimen’ is very important which includes removing makeup, washing the face and neck, exfoliating, moisturizing and cleansing at night.  Face cleansing is a process of removing dead skin cells, oil, dirt and pollutants, on the surface of the skin.  We must take the time to make this a part of our daily routine.  Cleansing is the primary step to glowing skin now and for the future!  Washing: Make sure you remove all your makeup before starting the cleansing steps.  BIOXAGE Milk Cleanser is a great natural makeup remover…with Almond Oil and Cucumber and Chamomile.  Always wash face morning and evening.  Washing removes dirt, sweat and pollutants on the skins surface.  If you have dry skin using coconut or olive oil is great also.  Rinse with warm water, do not use hot water as it can dry the skin even more.  If you have oily skin, a gel or foam cleanser is best. Always pat skin lightly and dry with a white cotton towel, which is very gentle on the skin.
